I am a highly experienced and motivated Information Assurance professional with the focus on Information Governance, Compliance, Audit, Information Risk Management, Data Protection, Records Management, Medical Informatics, Information Management, Business Continuity Management. I have awareness of IS2700x standards with practical experience in applying principles in daily work. My background also includes Lotus Domino and internet application development.
I hold a Certificate in Information Security Management Principles and am UKCHIP Level 2 registered. I am currently working towards my CISA Certification.
I have over 10 years experience within different industries both in the private and public sector in various roles. I have experience in the development of Information Governance agendas and policy frameworks in the primary and acute care setting. This includes the audit, compliance and review of systems, processes and committees against local and national standards. I also gathered experience in Data Protection, Records Management, IG Training Development / Provision and Identity / access systems such as the NHS Registration Authority.
In my spare time I enjoy activities such as travelling, cooking, walking, swimming, socialising with friends and discovering new things or learning new languages (I am currently studying Bahasa Indonesia). I am also an active member of the British Computer Society and maintain an up-to-date CPD record.
